TrustPoint Granite™ with StainShield-15™ is low maintenance and easy to clean. Unlike most granites, it does not require yearly sealing for up to 15 years. The recommended care and maintenance for TrustPoint Granite is as follows:
- To clean, simply use soapy water or a gentle household cleaner and wipe the surface dry.
- Protect countertop surfaces from direct heat sources with coasters or place mats.
- Clean up spills immediately to minimize damage to your stone.
- Use trivets or mats under hot dishes and cookware.
- Use place mats under china, ceramics, silver, and other objects that can scratch your stone's surface.
- DO NOT use cleaners that contain acid such as bathroom cleaners, grout cleaners, or tub cleaners.
- DO NOT use vinegar, bleach, or ammonia-based cleaners.
- DO NOT use abrasive cleaners.
- DO NOT use alkaline cleaners not specifically formulated for stone.
- DO NOT use polishes or waxes.
